So, today is the first day of posting about just Charlie, me and TJ.
Saturday, Charlie and I went to a friend's farm. The owners of the farm have exotic animals, and dogs. They were also dog breeders and trainers. I have been feeling like I haven't been doing everything I can for Charlie, and that he is not a "good" dog. Those feelings have all gone away.
B&K were wonderful to me. So were the other people there. K&G, W, M, G, and someone whose name I didn't get. They all said how good Charlie is. How he behaves so nicely. I even took him outside to visit with B&K's 3 dogs, 2 geese, 1 swan, 2 ducks, and 1 tiger. Charlie didn't like the tiger too much. The ducks and geese and swan didn't like him too much. The dogs, well, it depends on which one you ask.
Sure K did somethings I don't do with Charlie. She fed him human food (I don't do that) and gave it to him while we were eating. She fed him hotdogs as treats. Others fed him from off the table.. So the farm will be a place he gets to be spoiled. At home, it is a different story.
He had to wait until I was done eating, and then only had his food. Treats are carrots. At least now, I am much more confident in how I am bringing up Charlie. I am doing a good job.
